DRV8306: Basic operation

Part Number: DRV8306

The Internal regulator is not output(DVDD 26pin) even though the VM is supplied(15V).

Would you please let me know the cause of that?

Actually, the load current of the main power supply is almost zero, and nFAULT is low at the time(immediately after power on).

I'd appreciate your help.

Is your Enable pin high? It sounds like the device is in the low power sleep mode.

It's pull up by 10kohm. Is it ok?

If device is in the low power sleep mode, would you please let me know how it can waken?

Sango,

I would use a switch or MCU pin to pull up this ENABLE signal high, I would not install a permamnent pull-up as this would not allow the device to be shut down when needed.

10k is probably too large, I would use 1k.

Thanks for your kind suggestion.

Actually, I use 10k for all PU/PD(eq. Hall sensor input), I'll change it.

Then, I also connect ENABLE to MCU pin.

I will report later if it works well.

Adam,

Sorry for reporting late.

I can activate DRV8306 by making ENBLE signal high.

But it doesn't work well yet.

I connected HNx directly to the ground for single end operation.

Is it correct?

The hall sensors are Open drain type.

I install the pull up register.
