My customer is interested in DRV2700 for piezo driver and he has a question.

I would be grateful if you could advise.

I am considering to use DRV2700 for Piezo device.

According to the datasheet P.12 8.4.2 Flyback Mode, DRV2700 can drive 1000V by using Flyback mode

Could you please provide the reference design of driving 1000V.

The sample circuit is shown by Figure 37. , I'd like to know more detail.

Especially, I'd like to know about transformer, because I couldn't find 1000V output.

Shinichi-san,

Please take a look at the TINA-TI Reference Design below. You may use it in order to modify parameters and the transformer primary and secondary inductance, so it will increase the gain.

I think the customer doesn't have much experience with high voltage output (1000V).
So he wants a reference design.
