The manufacturer of my solenoid valve tells me I need to flow maximum current for 2 seconds before I can be sure the valve is closed. I can back off my current drive to about half of the maximum after 2s. Is there a problem with using a 22uF Ckeep to get this 2s spike time? How large can I make Ckeep?
