DRV8323: DRV8323 CAL pin define and Rsen max current limit

Part Number: DRV8323

Dear,

We saw the DRV8323 datasheet, and we  have two question  as below:

1.  we saw the CAL pin define:  Amplifier calibration input. Set logic high to internally short amplifier inputs and perform auto offset calibration., but we dont`t know how to use the pin to application, could Example?

2.  Rsen max current limit?

If any  suggestion, Please advise me.

Thanks,

Best regards,

Lawrence.

  • Lawrence,

Please check 8.3.4.3 in the datasheet.

The limit of RSEN is determined by the resistor selected, both the resistance value and the power rating. The resistor should be selected so that the current expected through it falls within it's allowed power disipation. For example a 0.001 ohm RSEN with a 0.25W rating can take sqrt(0.25/0.001) or ~15.8A.
