By having nSLEEP tied to DVDD, the device will not go through powerup, as the nSLEEP needs to be high for the digital LDO to function and output DVDD. Tying nSLEEP to a GPIO is a recommended practice. You can also tie it to another digital supply power line like VDD_MCU if you power VDD_MCU after VM24V. Additionally, there is a 100k pullup on nSLEEP. Internally, nSLEEP has a 100k pull down, so the voltage interpreted on NSLEEP will be DVDD / 2 = 5 V / 2 = 2.5 V, which is below the nSLEEP's minimum voltage (2.5 V).
