BOOSTXL-DRV8323RS: Dual motor control using DRV8323RS

I would like to control two PMSM motors simultaneously.The motor specs are-

Power - 400 W
Vdc = 50 V
halls sensors inbuit

The best way I could see if the use of LAUNCHXL-F28069M + DRV8323RS (2). However, when i started to look into the lab documents, it says that the dual motor can only be used with BOOSTXL-DRV8301 or BoostXL-DRV8305.

Is this a case because the DRV8323RS is a new booster pack and the pdf is not updated?

If not, what could I use instead?instaspin_labs.pdf, Thanks in advance

This depends highly on the software, not the driver. I will send your post to the C2000 team who supports the Instaspin code.

There are two options for dual motor control with BOOSTXL-DRV8323.

Option 1: LAUNCHXL-F28069M+ BOOSTXL-DRV8323

- In this case, you can use MotorWare but you need some effort for building up dual motor project with HAL files in the www.ti.com/lit/zip/slvc705. You need to revise a lab10d or lab11d project with the downloaded DRV8323 HAL files.

Option 2: LAUNCHXL-F280049C + BOOSTXL-DRV8323

- In this case, you can easily evaluate dual motor control with DRV8323 EVM because the latest Motor Control SDK (www.ti.com/tool/C2000WARE-MOTORCONTROL-SDK) has an example code for them.

Pls find the example code after importing the dual motor project below.

I'd like to correct my answer.

I found out the option #2 I mentioned above does not work. Unfortunately, the pin-map of BOOSTXL-DRV8323RS does not match with F28004x Launchpad. If you want to evaluate dual motor control with F28004x, please use BOOSTXL-DRV8320RS instead of DRV8323RS.
