A total of 28 high pressure solenoid valves in 2 banks of 14 need to be held continuously on and de-energized for maintenance. Power budget is small and every saving helps. Used for compressed natural gas bottles i.e. hazardous area. Data from the GSR Ventiltechnik (valve manufacturer P/N 2/529-25-0815-.248 (with 30 W ATEX Coil):
1) Switching On current
p=350bar open at Imin~ 850mA min. pulse duration ~ tmin=500ms
p=450bar open at Imin~ 875mA min. pulse duration ~ tmin=500ms
2) Holding current
Holding current I~300mA low difference between 350 and 450bar
3) 24 Vdc 30 W
4) Railway service i.e. vibration
Is a packaged unit available using DRV120 PWM technology available for DIN rail mounting or otherwise for:
a. Energising each solenoid individually i.e. 28 devices?
b. Energizing each bank collectively i.e. 2 devices?
