Would you mind if we ask DRV8886AT?

We recognize as follows;

<AutoTune Dynamic Decay>
Off time = Fixed off time
PWM frequency = Fixed PWM frequency

<AutoTune Ripple Control>
Off time = Auto adjustable off time
PWM frequency = Auto adjustable PWM frequency

Is it correct?

    Hi Matsumoto-san,

    You are correct that the Off time of Dynamic Decay is fixed and the Off time of Ripple control is adjustable.

    But Off time is only one part of the PWM frequency. The drive time can vary from PWM cycle to PWM cycle to reach the Itrip limit. The drive time variation will make the Dynamic Decay vary a little.
