DRV2624: Output frequency tolerance

Hello DRV gurus,

I have a few questions on the DRV2624.

1. According to the latest DRV2624 datasheet (http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/drv2624.pdf) the calculation equation for open loop frequency was changed. Our measurements seem to match better with values obtained from the older equation (24.39us). Which equation is correct?

2. Can TI provide a tolerance number on the output frequency for open loop operation in terms of percentage of programmed frequency?

3. Is this number different for closed loop operation?

Hi, Hrishi,

Regarding the equation that you mentioned, your measurements are correct. It seems that the equation was correct before its modification. The right value is 24.39us. We will work in order to modify this value in the datasheet as soon as possible to avoid future confusions.

Then, regarding your question about the tolerance number, we don't use to specify this value in the datasheet since it is too low. It is around +/- 0.24% of tolerance for the output frequency.
