DRV8305: SHx output voltage at power on

I've seen another question on the forum asking for the SHx pin going to P24V after enabling the DRV8305 but I haven't understood the answer.

After initializing the driver and with all inputs INx_x at 0V, GH_A and GH_C are going to P24V (precisely to 18V).

If I drive INH-A to a hiogh state, the GH_A increase of 10V (going around 30V).

    Franco,

    Please recheck SHx and GHx. These two pins are shorted when the high side FET is off so differentially you should see Vgs = 0V when measuring from SHx to GHx. Later when the High side FET is on, GHx must be 10V above the SHx node to keep the high side Vgs ON.
