DRV8305: SPI register set issue

Robin,

Please summarize for me, what are you programming and what are you getting back for each transaction?

Also, it is unlikely you need 1A of drive strength, please show me a schematic and FET part number.

I would set the IDRIVEN_HS and IDRIVEN_HS at 1amp. But when I set the IDRIVEN_HS it is OK, the IDRIVEP_HS  does not accept setting. It stays stucked at default value. Same behavior is sequence is inverted...

This FET has low Qgd which is the dominant capacitance in the output slew rate. What is your required output slew rate? Are you using series gate resistors?

Can you share a schematic?

We need very sharp edges. No series gate resistor.

1 Amp is too much for these FETs, I would reduce this to something more realistic. 

Please let me know the values you are programming and the corresponding readback you are getting. I want to check for a bit shift or something like that.

It is reacting as the picture above. I manage to set 2 registra with all the current values I want, but after 2 or 3 settings, it answers as the picture above, the default value of the setting....

Please annotate your screenshot. Let me know what each transaction is doing and what data should be sent or received. I see two transactions, in the first the MISO is talking first? this doesn't make sense.
