Is it possible to double the load current by connecting two outputs of DRV8847 in parallel?
If you have any concerns for it, please let me know.
Will DRV8847 be able to support VM=13.3V and Iout=1.14A at Ta=85C by parallel connection with 2ch?
How about DRV8881E?

Yes, it is possible to double the load by connecting the two outputs in parallel, with proper heatsinking.

The DRV8847PWP or DRV8847RTE should be used.

Yes, the DRV8847 should be able to support 1.14A at Ta=85C by parallel connection with 2ch. The DRV8847EVM can be used to evaluate the performance.

How about DRV8881E?

The DRV8881P is recommended for parallel mode. The DRV8881E with lower Rdson can handle the current.

The total Rdson is half in case of 2ch parallel connection, isn't it?
Is it possible to support x2 current as total?

Hi Takahashi-san,

Correct, the Rdson is half when connected in parallel.

It is possible to support 2x current when connected in parallel.

Proper thermal connections will determine how much current can actually be provided.
