Dears,
My customer design with DRV8844 for their product but found DRV8844 damaged often.
Attached is the schematics.
The PW1 is 48V~50V.
Can you help to review it and give me some idea for modification?
Thanks.

Hi Peter,
How many failures have been seen?
Out of how many tested?
Are IN1 and IN2 being PWM'ed? If so, at what frequency?
Is the damage seen at all three locations? If only one location, please check the layout carefully.
Please ask the customer to check for voltage spikes at VM when operating the motor. The device can be damaged if VM to VNEG exceeds 65V. This could occur if the motor is stopped suddenly. A quick check is to operate the system at 24V if possible and watch for voltage spikes.
