Regarding to BEMF of DRV8876, what is effective provision?

Na,

DRV8876 doesn't integrate the BEMF detection circuit. So, an external BEMF detection circuit is needed.

Thank you for your reply.

I want to protect IC from BEMF because the motor could be moved by external strength forced.
So measuring and detecting BEMF is not required, protection from BEMF is required.

I attached assumable situation.

Could it be possible to use DRV8876 even with such use case?

Na Na,

To me, do the monitor circuit first.( And then, add a comparator to do protection.
