DRV8873: Reducing the current trip level

Hi!

The data sheet of this IC states a minimum current trip level of around 4 amps for the SPI version and around 6 amps for the hardware version. Is it possible to reduce this level to approxamitely 1 amp?

If not, is there another IC implementing the same functoniality (especially slew rate control) but with a lower current trip level?

Hi Thauer,

You cannot lower the trip value to be below the 4 A setting.

At this moment, we do not have a driver that has the slew rate control of the DRV8873 and with a current trip level of 1 A.
