Is there any condition where the DRV8813 would shut off its 3.3V V3P3OUT output? Could this happen if the device goes into a fault mode (nFAULT output low)?
thanks

Hi Gregg,
The DRV shuts off it's V3P3 output when:
Hi Hector,
What if any downside is there if the V3P3 output does not have a bypass cap connected externally?
thanks
Hi Gregg,
The capacitors we recommend on the datasheets should be on the boards you design. Please, include this capacitor to avoid any potential downside.
OK thanks. I will make sure the bypass cap is connected to V3P3 output.
Is it required to use the V3P3 output for the reference circuit feeding AVREF and BVREF?
Or could an independent voltage source be used? The datasheet seems to imply this ...
(I have a separate 3.3V rail on my board, whose regulator is more accurate than the internal V3P3 source)
thanks again,
Gregg
