DRV8308: Any non-admin GUI for DRV8308

DRV8353RS-EVM: GUI install issue: composer Runtime

Hi,

Regarding the DRV8353RS-EVM GUI, I have two questions:

1. Accroding to "DRV8353Rx-EVM GUI User’s Guide" chapter 2.1, the install file name is "Setup_DRV8353Rx-1.0.0_EVM.zip", but I can only find " DRV8353RS/H-EVM GUI (Rev. A) ". Is this file the EVM GUI described in user's guide ?

2. I tried to install  DRV8353RS/H-EVM GUI (Rev. A) , and encountered GUI composer runtime issue. Then I tried the method decribed in https://e2e.ti.com/support/motor-drivers/f/38/t/453557?pi320995=2#pi239031350=2, but following error occured:

How shound I solve this problem ?

    Peng,

    Please use this page to download the latest Gui Composer Runtime, I don't believe you are downloading the correct version currently.

    Hi Adam,

    I tried to install GUI Composer Runtime (CCS v6.1.1): Download on Windows OS and runtime directory is not found in installation folder as following:

    Would you suggest which version in your link shoud I use ?

    Peng,

    What is the error you receive when using the "Download from Web" option when the original DRV8353 installer tries to install the GUI composer runtime?

    Peng,

    Please confirm that you are connected to the internet and not behind a firewall. Is there another network connection you can try?

    Hi Adam,

    After serveral attempts at home network, the installation is success finally, the problem may related to proxy exist at office network.
