Hello everyone,
what would be the limitation in the output current @~150Hz, 150Vpp that the DRV8662 can deliver under the assumption there is an appropriate inductor?
Thanks & best regards
Felix

Hi, Felix,
Welcome to E2E and thank you for your interest in our products!
The boost current is limited by the Rext resistor as mentioned in section 8.5.2 (Programming the Boost Current Limit): http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/drv8662.pdf#page=11 . This resistor limits the peak current drawn from the supply to the inductor.
Regarding the supply current, under the conditions that you mention, the device will consume around 110mA as shown in the black plot of figure 2: http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/drv8662.pdf#page=6
Please let me know if you have additional questions or comments on this.
Best regards,
