Hi,

I am having trouble navigating the newest motor ware SDK. I am starting a new design which will ultimately use the F280041C processor and the DRV8323RS driver and InstaSPIN-FOC.

I am only able to find the technical reference manual for the F2806x/F2802x processors. The only documentation I find with Motorware is the 4 page getting started guide.

Is there an equivalent document for the F28004x processors?

Any guidance would be appreciated.

I would ask the C2000 team to comment on this as the newest motor control SDK is very new to me. I will forward your post.

You can download motor control SDK software as the following link, you find some example labs based on BOOSTXL-DRV8320RS + LaunchPAD-F280049C.

So you only need to change the ADC and PWM configuration in hal.h and hal.c based on your own board, and reuse the driver file (DRV83823.C) in motorWare or make a bit modification on DRV8320.c in motor control SDK for DRV8323.

Maybe, DRV8320RS is better to be used with F280041C than DRV8323RS since the F280041C has on-chip PGA that replaces the integrated amplifier on DRV8323RS.

Regarding documentation, there's an index of documentation in the top level docs folder (C2000Ware_MotorControl_SDK_Documentation.html) that can direct you to the other guides. The Resource Explorer in CCS can help with that too.

It sounds like the InstaSPIN lab guide will probably be most relevant to you. That can be found in solutions/common/sensorless_foc/docs/labs--but again, you should be able to find a link to it in one of the above resources.
