Hi

My customer has some question regarding DRV8889-Q1 TRQ_COUNT.

Could you please let me know about the calculation the value of TRQ_COUNT(8bit)? 

Also, the following my understanding is correct? The green value is entered to TRQ_COUNT bit. Is it correct?

My customer would like to use for monitoring the load torque by TRQ_COUNT register.

Can they use this function for monitoring the load torque?

    Muk,

    The stall detection algorithm compares the back-EMF between the rising and falling current quadrants by monitoring PWM off time and generates a value represented by the 8-bit register TRQ_COUNT.  Torque_count compares and records "B" section and "A" section back-EMF difference. When the motor is stalled,  "B" section and "A" section back-EMF is similar, Torque_count is close to zero.
