Electric shock in motor control processor card!

Hi every one!

Since the InstaSPIN-FOC must have the voltage feedback ,the VdcBUS(GND) should be a common in Processor GND which is so dangerous.

I have a very bad experience of Electric shock while I want to increase the speed of motor by potentiometer (volume),

So my question is ,how to solve this problem?

That's why there is WARNING for a user in the hardware guide since the kit is hot ground design, you always need to use caution, make sure you don't touch the EVM directly and the isolation voltage of the devices or components are enough if you want to have an interface to the EVM.

but I am looking for solution,

1.would it be possible to use capacitor (X1Y1) across form GND and Earth in order bypass the high voltage shock?

2.the alternative would be to use linear optocoupler to Isolate the Analog input form Processor side.Am I right?

1. No, it's different concept, the board is hot ground design, the high voltage power ground has been conntected to low voltage digital/analog ground.

2. Right. It's the safety and best solution.
