Hello,

I'm having an issue with the software provided with the DRV8308EVM. Installation seems to go well but when I attempt to run the application I get an error message that it cannot find nw.exe.

I've looked around for such a file but it isn't part of the software.

Have you tried installing with administrator privileges? Do you have antivirus software interfering?

Hi,

I've tried just about everything, including getting a separate computer with just Windows 10 and no anti-virus. I get the same error.

I'm also having problems with the DRV10987EVM, where I get an error message saying it cannot find register.vi. I'm used to having TI products work perfectly out of the box so this is baffling.

Can you show us the EXE that you are trying to launch which gives you this error?

Have you tried running the DRV8308 online GUI tool on ti.com?

Meanwhile I found a solution:

It looks like the DRV8308 EVM Software on the product page of the Evaluation Module is veeeeeery old (https://www.ti.com/tool/DRV8308EVM).

So I downloaded it here http://dev.ti.com/gallery/search/DRV8308 and everything worked fine.

This solved my problem.
