  • Kundan,

Thanks for posting on the Motor Drives Forum.

A few more questions so that we can suggest a part:

    1. Do you have a motor spec we can look at?
    2. Will there be hall sensors included?
    3. Will you be using an MCU?
    4. Do you have a requirement for the control scheme (Trapezoidal/FOC/etc)?
    5. Will the fan blades be visible and is it okay if there is blade movement when the motor driver starts/initializes?

    Regards,

    -Adam

  • Hi Adam,

    Thanks for reply

    below are the answer

please find attachment for BLDC Spec.

    1. Do you have a motor spec we can look at? -- PM BLDC Type
    2. Will there be hall sensors included? -- No,Sensor less
    3. Will you be using an MCU? -- Yes
    4. Do you have a requirement for the control scheme (Trapezoidal/FOC/etc)? -- Trapezoidal
    5. Will the fan blades be visible and is it okay if there is blade movement when the motor driver starts/initializes?
  • Hi

We do not offer any all in one devices like the DRV10987 that will drive and control a 48V motor. So you will have to use a Gate drive and external FETs and current feedback to control the motor. look at the DRV8320. The EVM has Firmware for driving a motor with sensorless control.
