Hi, I have a question whether two different DRV2510 can work in a same I2C bus line.

I mean if we can set the address ID to each DRV2510s to recognize which IC is your target?

If that can be achieved, could you make a information of the setting method in detail?

Hi Yun,

Unfortunately you would need I2C mux to communicate individually to each device connected to the bus.
Connecting both devices at the same time could cause errors in the data transfer.

Could I have one more question about the I2C communication,

From your answer, you mean a pair of the ports for I2C of a MCU can only connect to a DRV2510 without a I2C mux?

whether I can use a DRV2510 and other kinds of I2C devices(which can be set the address ID for I2C communication).

Yun,

I meant you can only connect one device with the same address.

If other devices have different addresses then it's OK.

Yun,

DRV2510 only have 1 address option.
This is the reason I suggested using I2C mux.
