Hi Adolf,
Thanks for posting in E2E forum. This device is designed to operate in input voltages ranging from 5V to 16V. Do you see Rd pulled high when VCC = 7.10 - 7.15V and 7.45 - 7.48V? I still see some differences in your schematic versus the schematic in Chapter 9 fig 13. I don't know why you have connected 10 kohm resistor to PWM pin. What is IA?

Vishnu
Hi Adolf,
Are you increasing the supply voltage while the motor is spinning? Does your application have a variable Supply voltage? Are you able to see the same issue when you set the supply voltage to a value between 7.10 - 7.15V and 7.45 - 7.48V and spin the motor? What is the end application?
Regards,
Vishnu
Adolf,
I don't see any bug in the IC because as mentioned earlier this device is designed to operate in the entire operating range of Vcc. And you didn't answer to my previous question. Do you see Rd pulled high when VCC = 7.10 - 7.15V and 7.45 - 7.48V? Can you send the voltage and current plot to know more on what is happening?
Regards,
Vishnu
