Hi team,
Is the DRV3245E-Q1 able to control a bipolar stepper motor?
If not, what TI stepper motor driver alternative [with ISO262262 ref. and high diagnostic coverage] can you recommend?
Thanks,
Obinna.

Obinna,
Thanks for posting on the MD forum!
Unfotunately the DRV3245 cannot drive stepper motors. I will forward your post to the Stepper team for their recommendation.
Please note that the post will not move but internally the team will be notified.

Hi Adam,
Thanks for that. I will be looking forward to hearing from the Stepper team.

Obinna,
Our stepper motor drivers can be used in a system to meet ISO 26262 Functional Safety Standard. But, I won't think they cannot support ISO 26262 Functional Safety Standard alone. So, the system design handles the ISO26262.
