DRV2511-Q1: Input impedance of IN+/- pin

Part Number: DRV2511-Q1

Hi team,

1. Could you advise the input impedance of IN+/- pin of DRV2511-Q1 and its tolerance?

2. Gain = 20dB at R1=open, R2=20kohm in Page 6, while R1=Open, R2=5.6kohm in page 9 of the datasheet.
Which is the correct setting?

If I chose R2=20kohm, does input impedance change from 60kohm?

regards,

  • Hi, Shinji,

1.- The input impedance depends of the configured gain. As you mentioned, page number 9 contains a table with the different input impedance values.

    http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/drv2511-q1.pdf#page=9

These values have a +/- 5% of tolerance.

2.- The correct setting is the one of page 6 (R1 = open, R2 = 20Kohms). Thank you for pointing this out. We will work to correct this typo in the datasheet.

3.- The impedance won't change if R2 = 20Kohms. As I mentioned in my previous response, the correct settings is R1 = open and R2 = 20Kohms. This setting results in a 60Kohms input impedance.

Please let me know if you have additional questions or comments.

    Best regards,
    Luis Fernando Rodríguez S.
