    Hi Girish,

    Welcome to E2E!

    I noticed by searching the DRV102 that you had asked about this topic in a previous post a couple years ago. Unfortunately we have not created a newer version of the DRV102 or currently have plans of restarting the production of the IC.

    The best suggestion I have right now would be to refer back to the post they directed you last time to see if any of those devices could fit your application:

    I will discuss with the team to see what other options are available.

    Thank you for reply.

    Yes I known two years back I have posted the same query, As suggested earlier those IC's are not suitable and are not equivalent of IC DRV102, So we could not use it.

    We are very particular about DRV102 since we have designed using that IC and validated in Lab as well as Field trails for almost 3 years and after successful field trials and other compliance certification tests we have released the product for Production.

    When the product was in production, we got the Info from TI that IC is obsolete. Now again we cannot spend time for re-design the product which will cost us very heavily.

    Request you to kindly help in this regard

    Hi Girish,

    We understand that this has caused challenges with your build. However as already pointed out; the only path forward is using devices in the motor drivers portfolio. Please refer to our extensive portfolio of "motor drivers" products in case you are able to find better alternatives.

    Dear Andy Robles,

    We have explored all those possibilities none of them are near to DRV102 and are not suitable.

    We designed using DRV102, developed both hardware as well as software which is perfectly working so we need a solution for this.

    Hi Girish,

    We understand the situation. However, as mentioned earlier, we do not have plans of restarting the production of the DRV102. The only path going forward would be to adjust the design using one of the devices in the motor drivers product page. If you can find a device with similarities to the DRV102 you can start a thread with the new device so the team supporting the device can assist you with the implementation.
