Hi,

how should I ideally connect the thermal pad? To GND? Floating? How is the internal connection?

    Thanks for posting on the MD forum!

    The thermal pad must be connected to GND for both electrical and thermal reasons. The datasheet lists this in the application diagrams, schematics, and in the device pin table.
