PWM driver with feedback loop for flow

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8830Hello, I am looking for a PWM driver with feedback loop for flow in order to drive a solenoid valve. The solenoid works on 6V or 12V supply. Also looking for an I2C interface for control the valve. I wanted to know if the DRV8830 could be an option. Or is there any other options with I2C interface. Best Regards G Cohen

DRV8830 cannot support 12V input. Please take a look DRV8847S to see if it can meet your requirement or not?

Yes. DRV8847S have an I2C interface and support both 6V and 12V supply.

Cohen,

DRV8847S is not a DC/DC converter. It doesn't supply 6V or 12V. So, you still need a 6V or 12V DC/DC or AC/DC supply to provide 6V or 12V to DRV8847S circuit to drive the solenoid.
