DRV8889-Q1: Motor Selection for Headsup Display design

I want to use this motor driver DRV8889-Q1 in my heads-up display project. I need some guidance to choose the right stepper motor which would be compatible with this driver.

Some factors to consider :

1. Range of Voltage: 4.5V - 45V

2. Continuous Current - upto 1.5A ( looking for a lower current rated motor)

3. Step Angle/Resolution - 0.5 to 1 degree

Any help in making the right selection would be appreciated.

Arshiya,

Should we select the motor first according to your application first? And then, select a driver to drive that motor.

I cannot recommend a motor.

Can I use this driver given it meets the criteria for my application of HUD?

Also, can you please guide me in finding the library for this driver that I can utilize for my development? I found one of them on Git. Can I utilize this for my development?

DRV8889-Q1 can driver that WO-3809Y-51 stepper motor.
