DRV8873-Q1: Rsense calculation

Hi,

In page 41 of datasheet. Itrip is shown set as 6.5A and Iipropi is 1/1100 and max voltage can be 5V so Rsense should be 700R but it is shown as 1.5K. is my calculation correct or should i Use 1.5K only

    Ajay,

    That application's Motor RMS current is 2.5A. It doesn't use the internal current regulation threshold Itrip to do the current regulation. The Itrip setting is higher than 2.5A to avoid a false trigger. That is my understanding.
