DRV8353: Constant low signal on the output of the drivers

Part Number: DRV8353

Hi,

We are using a DRV8353RH driver to switch 2 Individual half bridges. We have tested the driver with GLx and GHX both floating or connected to the MOSFETs (but with no DC-link voltage).

We see a low signal on the GLx and GHx for both legs. The voltage at GHx is 18V when referenced to AGND, but 0V when referenced to SHx.

We are using the 6x PWM mode, where the MODE pin is tied to GND. We are using a MCU to provide the PWM signals at INLx and INHx, this has a voltage level of 3.3V, so it's above the logic thresshold at 1.5V.

We have also toggeled the signal at Enable to verify that the device is working.

The schematic of the driver is shown below. The resistors to configure the device is also shown, where the ones marked with NC is not connected.
