DRV8705-Q1: setting the mode of gate driver

My customer is asking:

If I want to driver the gate in certain mode, for instance Mode PWM H-bridge control, I need to set the control signal as table below:

I also need to set BRG_MODE=10b in register via SPI. Is this correct? Besides configure BRG_MODE via SPI is there other way to set the register BRG_MODE?

    The answer depends on the device.

    For the DRV8705S-Q1 (SPI version), yes BRG_MODE needs to be set to 10b via SPI. There is no other way.

    For the DRV8705H-Q1 (Hardware version), the MODE pin should either be left floating or connected to GND via a 500kOhm resistor.
