DRV3205EVM: DRV3205EVM couldn't be flashed

Hi,

Good day!

After I've got the source project files for the DRV3205EVM board, I tried to run the program on the LaunchPad.

The compilation finished (CCS10) without any error, but the image couldn't be flashed afterward to the LAUNCHPADXL2-TMS57012 board.

I've got the following error messages:

"Texas Instruments XDS110 USB Debug Probe/CortexR4 (Disconnected:Unkown)"

"Texas Instruments XDS110 USB Debug Probe/CortexR4 : Target must be connected before loading program."

When I change the controller from the correct TMS570LS1224 to a TMS570LS1227 flashing works fine.

The only difference between the two devices is that the TMS570LS1227 has an additional FlexRay and Ethernet Interface.

What has to be done that the board could be flashed with the correct TMS570LS1224 type?

Do you use the same device name in Project property and Target configuration?

1. CCS project property

Thanks for your fast response!

I've checked the configuration. It seems that anything is configured as you wrote. Both, Project properties and Target configuration is set to TMS570LS1224.

But I still get the following error message:

"Texas Instruments XDS110 USB Debug Probe/CortexR4 : Target must be connected before loading program."

As I wrote in my first message, when I change in the Project properties the type to TMS570LS1227, the LaunchPADXL2 board could be flashed.

Hello Heinz,

I think your target configuration is under your project. Can you try this sequence to load the file:

1. CCS->Target Configurations->DRV3205EVM -> targetConfigs->TMS570LS1224.ccxml launch this configuration

2. Under Debug tab, connect the device

3. After the device is connected, load the file
