DRV8873SEVM: Missing hardware files and schematic for the SPI version of eval. board

The hardware zip file slvc753.zip does not contain the schematic and hardware files for the DRV8873SEVM SPI version of the eval. board. Please show me where I can get these files. Thanks.

Hi Phil,

Thank you for posting to the motor drives forum.

If you look at the the MD021A_Hardware.SchDoc file, the variant table shows the PCB variant 001 as the DRV8873SEVM. You have to select variant 001 to view the hardware files for the DRV8873SEVM.

Pablo,

In the slvc753.zip, I see only MD021A(002)_Sch.PDF, and BOM, Assy for variant -002.

I need the PDF and xls files for schematic, BOM and Assy for variant -001. Where can I find them exactly.

BTW, which design software did you use on this board?

When you open the zip folder, do you see another zip folder titled "MD021A Design Files.zip"?

I do see "MD021A Design Files.zip", but it does not contain any PDF file at all!

Phil,

The PDF files for the 001 variants are not included in the hardware files. You have to open the design files with Altium or another PCB design software to export the schematic as PDF.

The MD021A_PCBlayers.PDF is the same file for both variant 001 and 002.
