Hi,

Could you please let me know how to disable OCP (over current protection) in DRV8320?

OCP Control Register (address = 0x05h)
7:6:OCP_MODE
11b = Overcurrent is not reported and no action is taken

Will OCP_MODE =11b disable OCP?

    Hello Nagata,

    Thanks for posting to the MD forum!

    OCP_MODE = 11b will fully disable OCP and take no action when an overcurrent fault is detected. OCP_MODE = 10b will report SPI bits if an overcurrent fault is detected, but the gate drivers will continue to function as normal.
