I was wondering if there’s a modern replacement that I can use for SN28648P, used as motor driver in Polaroid SX-70 in the 1970s?
Thank you

Ryan,
First of all, thank you for your support.
The SX-70 used a DC motor at 6V and 12000rpm. It peaks north of 2.3A, to be safe 3A at 6V.
The whole picture taking sequence takes less 1.5sec.
The original TI chip marked SN28648P was described in 1974:
“ integrated control circuit, an NPN motor drive transistor, and a PNP dynamic braking transistor”
I am thinking of a small SMD solution that can be mounted on a small PCB (it’s a DIL8, actually 7) to make it pin compatible.
Thank you
