DRV8353RF: DRV 8353 1XPWM

Part Number: DRV8353RF
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8353

Hi i have an application of BLDC motor drive with HALL sensor based, if iam connecting Hall sensor directly to DRV 8353 and providing Single PWM from MCu.. while motor running how the PWM duty cycle get varied?

Please provide any document about the independent working of DRV 8353(HALL sensor connecting directly to DRV8353)

  • Hey Shishod,

The PWM duty cycle depends on the relative on-time and off-time of your PWM signal. More specifically, the duty cycle is the percentage of time the signal is active ON in on period (on-and-off cycle). Your MCU is providing the PWM signal and this is responsible for varying that input signal.

As long as you have your PWM and hall sensors connected correctly you should be able to drive the motor. Are you having any particular issues driving the motor with your board?

    Regards,

    Paul

  • Hey Shishod,

I have not heard from you in a few weeks.

Did my previous response answer your questions? If so, could you get TI Resolved and I'll close out this thread.
