DRV8353RS-EVM: Failed to connect to TMS320F28027

Thanks for posting on the E2E Forum! Let me get in contact with some of the experts on the team and follow up with you on Wednesday 11/4/20 CST.

For now, I can recommend some general requests such as plugging into different USB ports and running the locally installed version of the GUI as an administrator. These have helped solved customer issues in the past. Remember, the TI Cloud agent is really important for getting the connectivity to work.

    Nice to have the reply from you.

    I have tried the recommended from you. Uninstall and installed by administrator. Plugging every USB ports I can.
    But the situation is still without any change.
    Device Manager shows same state with Texas Instruments Debug Probes. TI Cloud Tool is like below

    Have you had others method to overcome this issue?

Do you see any items in the Ports section of the device manager?

The icon for this section looks like this:

If you do not see the EVM listed in the PORTS section of device managed, please try this: https://e2e.ti.com/support/tools/ccs/f/81/t/646137?CCS-TMS320F28377S-XDS100-V2-Does-Not-Show-Up-in-COM-Ports

If you see the EVM listed in the PORTS section, please right-click on it and go to Properties, select the Details tab, select Hardware IDs from the drop down, and send us a screenshot of what you see there.

    Thanks for the direction.

    The TI's device is not in the Ports section of device manager. The device is my another USB serial port.

 

     I have tried to remove the driver and reinstall driver again, but still the same as above.
     I have tracking the posts to below, and take the linker.

   Could you tell me what is the meaning of "substitute step 3 from "  on below page? I have no idea to linking above post.
