DRV8847: TRQ pin connection when PWM is not used

Hello team, I’ve got a question from the customer, and would like to ask your advice.

When I want to use DRV8847 without using PWM function (only use as motor ON/OFF mode), where should I connect TRQ pin?

The datasheet says that "If current control is not needed, connect the ISENxx pins directly to ground.".

Can the TRQ pin also be connected to the GND?

Kurumi,

Yes, the TRQ pin can be connected to GND. With no sense resistors, the voltage on those pins will be zero and the TRQ scaler will have no effect on the voltage and there will be no current regulation.
