DRV8353: DRV8353H Turn On issue

Hello,

I.m using DRV8353H to drive my Inverter. I have attached my schematic here. The issue is, the Gate driver doesn't turn On.

I have Given 48VDC supply, Gate driver Enable is high, n Fault pin is High. But DVDD, VDLS is Low and the PWM doesn't come out of Gate Driver.

Please suggest the Solution for the same.

    Hello Kumar,

    DVDD, VGLS, and VCP are all voltage generated from within the part. The only times they don't come up are when:

    1. the DRV835x is damaged
    2. the correct components were not selected to bias the regulators
    3. there was an a assembly issue
    4. Layout is the issue

    19/20 times, it is number 3 assuming the board never worked in the first place. If the board worked in the first place and then stopped working, then its usually number 1 or 4.

    So, assuming it never worked in the first place, do you have multiple boards to confirm the issue isn't tied to the design? If not can you do an A-B-A swap where you change the DRVx (labeling it "B") and test; then put the original part (labeled part "A"), back on and test?
