DRV8703-Q1: Dynamic Braking - Regenerative braking

Part Number: DRV8703-Q1

Dear TI-team,

We want to implement a controlled breaking procedure of a DC motor when he works as a generator. The goal would be to archive constant rpm on the motor by switching between coast and slow decay. As a power supply, a battery is used.

Would this be allowed, or have we overlooked any restrictions?

Thank you, Danijel
