In the case CHx is in OCP and this CH is disabled, then other CHs are still in normal operation, is my understanding correct?
I would like DRV8904-Q1 not to disable all CHs while only one CH is in OCP.

Yes, your understanding is correct. You may have already seen this section in the datasheet: 8.3.3.4 Overcurrent Protection (OCP). This mentions only the associated channel is disabled.
