DRV10987: Line regulation that is acceptable by DRV 10987?

I am using an SMPS to power DRV 10987, I would like to know what is the range of line regulation that is acceptable by DRV10987?

Hi Ashokraj,

Thanks for posting your question in MD forum. Range of the Supply voltage Vcc in DRV10987 for the motor to be operational is 6.2V to 28V. When the supply voltage Vcc changes, the motor speed will also change so the line/supply voltage regulation in DRV10987 depends on what speed regulation you are looking for.

I have not understood,I would like to know the acceptable ripple voltage at the input of DRV. Can you please tell me in detail.

Hi Ashok,

We recommend the voltage ripple on Vcc to be less than 200 mV.
