I am wandering about the gate drive current vs frequency for the part DRV8312. The specifications are at 400kHz, but I am planning switching much lower. What I am looking for is guidance on what the max current would look like for about 15 kHz.

Hello Michael,
We can assume IGVDD is approximately linear with PWM frequency (since Q = I x T or I = Q x F) for a guess at the worst-case currents. This would mean that we can expect a TYP GVDD current of around 1.9mA and MAX around 2.8mA.
IVDD should not have much dependence on the PWM frequency - it is powering internal regulators. It is best to assume that the TYP and MAX current will be the same as the 400kHz case. If we assume that the operating current has a similar ratio to the idle current and approximate that the maximum should be about 14 mA.
Thanks,
Matt
