Hi team,

My customer want to use several combination of solenoids connected in parallel as shown attached file.

Customer want to use combination like below, by switching low-side FET.

- Solenoid1 only

- Solenoid2 + Solenoid3

- Solenoid1 + Solenoid4, etc.

Could you check if attached figure representing use case is feasible?

Hi, Fujihara-san,

Could you provide the details about the solenoids impedance? In addition, why the customer is considering a single-ended connection instead of a differential output connection?

Hi Luis-san,

I got feedback from customer.

- Impedance of solenoid : 8.3ohm , 30mH

Customer has not yet decided to apply single ended output is not clear.

Could you confirm if it's possible to use single ended configuration without fault detected by diagnostic?

Hi, Fujihara-san,

We actually recommend a differential output configuration since the diagnostic circuit requires some feedback from the output. A single-ended connection may result in a wrong diagnostics and power losses.
