DRV8428: Is there a way to know the indexer state?

I need to know the state ot the indexer to be able to control the position of the motor shaft angle. Is the state for example set to 1 when enabling the device (EN/nFAULT going from 0 to 1)? I coildn't find any info about this in the datasheet.

    I found the info in the datasheet myself.

    "The initial excitation state is an electrical angle of 45°, corresponding to 71% of full-scale current in both coils. This state is entered after power-up, after exiting logic undervoltage lockout, or after exiting sleep mode."
