DRV8889-Q1: EMI problem

Part Number: DRV8889-Q1

Hi

EMI test, in the low frequency band, the EMI is high,by combining the motor wire and shield with the test frequency of 22kHz,

I'm sure it's a 22 kHz frequency, which is when the TOFF is 22 kHz, how to solve the EMI problem?Thanks!

  • Neal,

    Assume you talk about the input side conductive EMI. Do you test is with an EVM or your own board?

    1. Add more capacitors at input;

    2. If the input has pi filter, increase the inductor value.

    3. What decay mode do you use? Can you change it to the ripple control decay mode?
