Hi,

I'd like to ask about "OCP time" in DRV8842 datasheet (page 10, section "Overcurrent Protection").

Could you give me the value of this time? In best case a MIN, TYP und MAX value.

I couldn't find it in the datasheet.

Good question. It is typically 1.75us. It will be added to the datasheet.

I don't have the MIN/MAX data, but a reasonable estimate is ±20%. Do you need to know precisely?

Sebastian, I found our digital logic specification, and it provides a ±10% range for the time.

Sebastian, sorry but today I found what I told you is incorrect. I received new info from the device designer. The OCP deglitch time is typically 3.0us, and there is also roughly 400ns of propagation delay. So you can expect about 3.4us between overcurrent and when the device trips the fault.
